Privacy Policy

Stack Finder is operated by Cigar Stacks LLC, a Florida limited liability company based in Pembroke Pines, Florida. In this policy, “we” and “us” means Cigar Stacks LLC.

This policy applies to three groups of people:

• Guests who use a Stack Finder kiosk in a lounge, or the Stack Finder experience on their own phone.
• Retailers who license Stack Finder for their shop.
• Visitors to mystackfinder.com.

Each lounge that hosts a kiosk also has its own privacy practices for its own business. This policy covers what we do, not what an individual retailer does with information they collect independently of Stack Finder.

Stack Finder concerns tobacco products and is intended only for people who are 21 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If you believe someone under 21 has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

From guests using a kiosk or the mobile experience:

• The preferences you enter — strength, body, wrapper, flavour notes, size, and any cigar you name as a starting point.
• The recommendations shown to you and which ones you acted on.
• Order details when you send an order to the counter: the items, the shop, and the pickup code.
• Your email address and/or mobile number, only if you choose to give them — for example to save your picks or be told when something is back in stock.
• Approximate location, only if your device permits it. See section 05.

From retailers: business contact details, and the catalogue, inventory and pricing data needed to run the kiosk for your shop.

From website visitors: what you type into the demo request form, and ordinary technical information your browser sends, such as IP address and device type.

Location is used for one purpose: deciding whether you are inside a participating lounge, and which lounge it is. That determines which catalogue you see and which ordering options are offered — for example, ordering a drink to your table only appears when you are actually on the premises.

Because a device can misreport its position, the check is confirmed on our servers rather than trusted from the browser.

We do not:

• Track your movements over time or build a location history.
• Use location for advertising.
• Sell or rent location data to anyone.

Declining the location permission does not lock you out. It simply places you in the off-premises experience.

Stack Finder never collects card or payment details at the kiosk. When you send an order to the counter, no money moves. A ticket is created on the retailer's own point-of-sale system and you pay there, with staff, exactly as you would for any other purchase. Card handling is the retailer's and their payment processor's, not ours.

• To generate recommendations and pairings.
• To create and route your order to the correct register.
• To send you a back-in-stock message if you asked for one.
• To show the retailer aggregate insight about what guests searched for, what converted, and what they did not stock.
• To operate, secure and improve the product.
• To respond when you contact us.

We do not use guest information to advertise to you on behalf of third parties.

• The retailer whose lounge you used. If you gave your email at their kiosk, that contact belongs to them — it is their customer relationship, and they may market to you under their own policy.
• Service providers who run parts of the system for us: point-of-sale platforms, email and messaging tools, and hosting providers. They may only use the information to provide those services to us.
• If the law requires it, or to protect rights and safety.
• In a business transfer, if the company or its assets are acquired.

We do not sell personal information.

A retailer's catalogue, inventory, sales and customer-capture data belong to that retailer. We use it to run their kiosk and produce their dashboard. We do not sell it, and we do not share one retailer's identifiable data with another.

We may use aggregated, de-identified information — patterns that cannot reasonably identify a person or a shop — to improve the product.

We keep information for as long as it is needed for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires. Guest contact details are kept while the relationship with that retailer is active. When a retailer leaves, their data is deleted or returned on request within a reasonable period.

• Unsubscribe from back-in-stock or marketing messages using the link in any message.
• Ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
• Turn location off in your browser or device settings at any time.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. Email info@cigarstacks.com and tell us what you would like; we will not treat you differently for asking.

The website uses only what is needed to make the site work and to understand basic traffic patterns. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. Your browser settings can block or delete cookies at any time.

Credentials that write to a retailer's point-of-sale are held on our servers and never placed in the kiosk browser. We take reasonable measures to protect information, though no system can be guaranteed completely secure.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be communicated to retailers directly.
